Ensiferum – Interview with Sami Hinkka, 21 February 2016

Finnish folk metallers Ensiferum played Belfast for the first time this past weekend, when they brought their ‘Burden Of The Fallen’ tour to the UK and Ireland.

PlanetMosh took the opportunity to catch up with bassist/vocalist Sami Hinkka to chat about all things to do with the band, including his views on the band being mistakenly branded as “Viking metal” by some critics, how Iron Maiden inspired them to go back to basics on their most recent album, ‘One Man Army’, their extensive touring plans for the rest of the year and the challenge of their recent run of acoustic dates.
