FuryUK – Manchester – 13/04/2011 (Gig)

As opening act, it is often very hard to draw a crowd, however even I was shocked at how packed out the academy 2 was for these guys.
FuryUK won the Manchester RockRadio Battle of the Bands comp about 3 years ago, and its always good to see a local band go onto bigger and better things, so tonight’s show was a sort of home coming for them.
The last time I saw them, they supported Y&T at the much smaller Academy 3, and they rocked the place, this time with the extra stage space, the boys rocked even harder.
The infectious grooves these guys kick out are just great, great rock song after great rock song, They opened up with “I see red” “Fall from grace” and “Alien skies”, all from the latest album, before drawing on songs from their previous release’s, ending the set with the hard rocking “Death by lightning”.
This band play’s some serious balls out metal, with an attitude to match.
Catch them on tour all over the uk.
