GHOSTFEST 2015 announces 7 more bands for 10th Anniversary show

Celebrating its 10th year, GHOSTFEST is back and bigger than ever! Now introducing a GHOSTFEST SOUTH date, the festival takes place at Leeds University Union on 6 September before travelling to Bristol to do it all again at Motion on the 7th.

Joining the bill for this year’s bash is rising American mob TURNSTILE, Nintendo-core bruisers RISE OF THE NORTHSTAR. Back by popular demand 2014’s second stage headliners NASTY are returning for a mainstage appearance. Completing the latest announcement are MAKE THEM SUFFER, ASTROID BOYS, SLAUGHTER TO PREVAIL, VENOM PRISON.

Already announced for the event are hardcore icons and headliners HATEBREED who are on their 20th anniversary tour, so expect destruction as they make their Ghostfest debut. Joining them will be DESPISED ICON, CRIME IN STEREO and XIBALBA.

From its humble beginnings on the second stage at Leeds Cockpit in 2005, Ghostfest evolved into the grander settings of Leeds University Union. Bring Me The Horizon and Architects were among the first bands to play the festival a decade ago; now two of the biggest metal bands in the UK.

A major turning point came in 2012 when the festival grew further with the introduction of a third stage. Over the years the festival has helped nurture the likes of Lower Than Atlantis, Bury Tomorrow, Suicide Silence, While She Sleeps, Thy Art Is Murder, Deez Nuts and Feed The Rhino.
