GOLDRAY – new psych rock band ft. REEF’s Kenwyn House release ‘Soulchild’ Single + Video

GOLDRAY return with a brand new single ‘SOULCHILD‘ on October 28th.

Having sprung into fruition in 2014 as the exciting new psych rock project from ofex-Reef guitarist Kenwyn House with Leah Rasmussen(vocals) and Geoff Laurens (bass),GOLDRAY have been busily writing and recording their highly anticipated full-length debut album at various studios including Metropolis, The Granary and RAK Studios with Brit Award-winning producer Pedro Ferreira.

They are excited to reveal a taste of what’s to come with their new focus track ‘Soulchild’.

The single will be formally released in digital format via the bands own label Akashic Records (and distributed through Cherry Red Records) on October 28th.

The band are set to play a free-entry celebratory headline show at London’sThe Borderline venue on November 8th to mark the single release.

Goldray enjoyed a successful 2014/2015 with the self release of their eponymous debut EP/LP ‘GOLDRAY‘, which was met with critical acclaim from major rock titles, with Classic Rock Magazine declaring them ‘a splendid prog ‘n’ psych magical carpet ride’ and drawing parallels with the likes of The Doors,Cream and Pink Floyd, with sister magazine PROG also referencing comparisons to Zeppelin and Kate Bush.

The band’s first single, ‘Outloud‘ received radio support from Planet Rock,BBC Introducing, as well as regional radio across the country.

They have also been garnering a formidable reputation live with performances at Glastonbury, Bestival, Download Festival, Camden Rocks Festival and various London shows including a support slot with psych legendsMotorpsycho.

The band are currently working on tour dates and album release for Spring 2017.
