New post-hardcore titans on the block, GRIEF RITUAL have won Metal 2 The Masses in their first attempt and secured themselves a place at BLOODSTOCK FESTIVAL 2019!
Grief Ritual are a quartet hailing from South West England, marrying together elements of post-hardcore, mathcore and screamo. Their brute force intensity, pummelling, jagged riffs and ferocious energy wowed the crowd and judges at their Metal 2 The Masses heats, earning them a place at this year’s New Blood Stage.
“WE ARE ABSOLUTELY OVERWHELMED TO ANNOUNCE THAT WE WILL BE PLAYING BLOODSTOCK FESTIVAL 2019! PLAYING IN METAL 2 THE MASSES HAS BEEN A BLAST. WE’D LIKE TO THANK EVERYONE WHO CAME OUT, EVERYONE WHO MOSHED OUT TO US AND ALL THOSE PEOPLE WHO HAVE SUPPORTED US OVER THE LAST FEW MONTHS. WE TRULY APPRECIATE IT. SEE YOU ALL AT BLOODSTOCK.” ~ GRIEF RITUAL
Grief Ritual’s debut EP ‘Life Is A Phase’ was released last year through FHED Records. They have since recorded a follow up EP with Joe Clayton (Pijn, Leeched) at No Studio in Manchester.
