Milton Keynes-based tech-metal-grime-rock hybrid HACKTIVIST have today released their brand new single, ‘FALSE IDOLS’, their first new release since 2013’s ‘ELEVATE’ (not counting their highly successful cover release of Jay-Z & Kanye’s ’N****as In Paris’ at end of last year).
Watch ‘False Idols’ here:
Recorded & mixed in the band’s own studio set-up, ‘False Idols’ once again merges the tight rhymes of co-frontmen J Hurley & Ben Marvin with crushing riffs and jagged tempos, but moves the Hacktivist sound on from last year’s releases, instead pointing the way to the band’s upcoming album release, on which work continues (stay tuned for news).
Following on from Hacktivist’s tour supports with Korn and opening for Limp Bizkit, the band are set to desolate the main stages of Reading and Leeds Festivals (Friday 22nd Aug / Saturday 23rd Aug). Catch them too on their headline tour in November/December with Dead Harts and The One Hundred.
