Summary:

It's a great EP and if you get chance I'd definitely recommend heading to one of their gigs.

IDestroy have just released their second EP, Pure joy of life. The Bristol based all-female trio are out on tour at the moment across the UK and Germany. They describe themselves as “party punk”, which really is a perfect description for this EP. It’s got that aggressive and fast paced sound that you associate with punk (proper punk like the Sex Pistols, not the watered down “punk” of American acts such as Green Day), and it’s catchy and up-beat enough to justify the “party” element.

Listening to it, I can’t imagine anyone at one of their gigs standing still – it’s the sort of music that makes you want to move, whether it’s joining a moshpit, jumping around, or headbanging – whatever it takes to burn off the energy that comes across in the music. A fantastic EP.

Check out the single – Lemons.
