Currently fully immersed in the build up to their eagerly awaited début album Tides, Manchester natives Iodine Sky have announced plans to hit the road for several blasts of shows over the next few months. Beginning next week with a hometown show to celebrate the release of Tides at Manchester’s Academy 3, Aaron, Josh, Dave and Josh will be playing shows all over the UK in the next few months including two trips to London. The tour announcement comes on the back of the release of the first single from Tides, So Far Away, which has been met with considerable acclaim and is currently receiving airplay on radio stations around the country. You can check out the video for So Far Away below:

“So Far Away in short is about depression, we wanted to send a message to say “you’re not alone, don’t give up”. Its the first song we ever wrote in the band and it’s what made us carry on … We’ve dedicated all the profits and theme to support project semicolon which is an amazing non profit movement to support those suffering with depression, alcoholism, addiction etc. You can find their site at http://www.projectsemicolon.org/“
