Summary:

Jayler, a band destined for stardom with their twist on classic rock dished out with aplomb!

Easter Sunday afternoon 2024 will always remain in my memory as West Midland based band Jayler were certainly the loudest, youngest and most flamboyant band I’ve seen at the Cosey Club in Haslington, playing at the CozyZone event.

A two hour set (with no break) flew by on a barrage of classic rock, promoting their debut EP, A Piece In Our Time, plus covers and when it was all over, the well deserved applause was deafening.

So fast forward to 2025 and thankfully they returned to finish off what was left of our hearing. They played for two and a half hours in a venue so packed out, some had to watch/look through a back room. They have certainly come on leaps and bounds since last year as they try out new material. A nice touch came from a lot more keyboards this time instead of bass guitar, which worked out fine to me, adding subtle touches.

You’ll have to catch them while you can as bigger venues await, including two outdoor festival spots this summer at Stonedead Festival and Steelhouse Festival respectively.
