KAMIKABE post guitar playthrough video; begin writing process for new album

Pittsburgh, PA tech death metal machine, Kamikabe, have released a playthrough video for the song ‘Nefarious,’ which comes from their debut full length “Aberration of Man,” released in August 2012 via Unique Leader Records. Check out the playthrough video at this location.

The band offered this brief update to go along with the playthrough clip: “Something to gnaw on while you wait for new material. Jake Smatana left us in 2013. We have since recruited Dave Kirsch on bass, and have begun writing for our next album.”

KamikabeFollowing the release of “Aberration of Man,” Kamikabe hit the road in the Fall of 2012 for an East Coast Headline run with fellow heavy hitters Rivers of Nihil supporting. In Spring 2013, Kamikabe took part in the Bloodletting North America tour which featured GorodInanimate Existence and Vale of Pnath, as well as The Kennedy VeilPyrexia,AchspireApplaud the Impaler and others on select dates throughout the tour. Immediately following the Bloodletting tour, Kamikabe had to deal with some shifts in their line up which sidelined the band for the remainder of 2013.

Spring 2014 finally brings an end to that downtime.
