Les-Fest is Scotland’s Award Winning* Rock & Metal Festival and is held in June at Valley International Park, Lanarakshire.
The event takes place close to the village of Lesmahagow, on Friday the 28th until Sunday the 30th June 2013 and will see over 60 bands perform within the Valley International Park, Crossford, Lanarkshire.
The large modern venue is 5 minutes from Junctions 7 or 8 off the M74 motorway. 25 minutes from Glasgow, 45 minutes from Edinburgh, 70 minutes from Carlisle.
Some accommodation is available locally, including lodges or bring your own tent, caravan or motor home.

Valley International Park is situated in the heart of the magnificent Clyde Valley, just ten minutes from Lesmahagow. It is set in 90 acres of the most beautiful and stunning forestry on the banks of the River Clyde. The park was formally known as Carfin Estate and the 19th century Carfin house still stands in the grounds.
The park is now owned by the Smith Family and has been transformed into an attraction for all the family to enjoy

By Road from the North and the East:
Leave the M74 Motorway at Junction 7 and turn left onto the A72. At roundabout take the first exit onto the A71 at next roundabout (500 yds) take the third exit onto the A72. Pass the Popinjay Hotel on left then 3 miles further, The Tillietudlem Inn on right. Turn left onto Braidwood Road – B7056. Cross the River Clyde. Valley International Park is immediately on your right.

By Road from the South and the West:
Leave the M74 Motorway at Junction 8 and take the fifth exit on the roundabout, A71 (Edinburgh) Pass the Shawlands Hotel on your left. Go straight through the lights at crossroads. At next roundabout take the second exit onto the A71 at next roundabout (500 yds) take the third exit onto the A72. Pass the Popinjay Hotel on left then 3 mile further, The Tillietudlem Inn on right. Turn left onto Braidwood Road – B7056. Cross the River Clyde. Valley International Park is immediately on your right.

Take a train from Glasgow Central, or bus to Hamilton Central (Train) or Hamilton Bus Station – These are at the same location. (You can also take the train right through to Larkhall) Travel time from Hamilton to Crossford is about 35 minutes.
Take the SPT Bus, Service number 317 (Hamilton – Lanark) Exit at Crossford Inn. Walk 100 yards toward the B7056, signed Braidwood. Cross the River Clyde. Valley International Park is immediately on your right.

You can also take a Train on the Glasgow, Queen Street, via Motherwell to Lanark line and use the same Bus Service, Lanark to Crossford, again exiting at the Crossford Inn.
