Les Fest, Lanarkshire – Scotland’s newest Rock & Metal Festival

Les Fest is Scotland’s newest Rock & Metal Festival and is held on the 29th and 30th June 2012 at Valley International Park, Lanarakshire.

The initial idea being, to hold a small metal music event, for up and coming local bands, within the village of Lesmahagow, Lanarkshire.

Simply christened LesFest, the event has taken on a life of its own and due to demand from both bands and fans alike the festival was quickly moved 7 miles from Lesmahagow to Valley International Park, in the heart of Lanarkshire’s ClydeValley. The beautiful rural setting right on the banks of the river Clyde has bars, restaurants camping and vip accommodation with an indoor venue and bar that holds up to 500 people.

The first few acts have already been confirmed and London’s Kyrbgrinder will headline on Saturday night, supported by West Lothians, The Amorettes and Inferno from Holyhead. Fridays line-up includes Dirty Rose, Attica Rage and Let’s Play God.

There are  more acts to be added and tickets can be purchased for Friday night, Saturday Night or the full weekend with camping if required.

This is a family friendly event. Tickets can only be sold to people over the age of 16. People younger than 16 years must be accompanied by an adult (Over 18) Children under 12 can come for free and are most welcome.
