Like A Storm recently set a new career milestone for themselves. Their latest single “Break Free” has moved in to the Top 30 at Active Rock radio in the United States. This is their fourth single in a row to reach the Rock Top 30. A music video for “Break Free” will be released in the near future.

Like A Storm are no stranger to success at the Active Rock format. Their previous singles, “Love The Way You Hate Me,” “Wish You Hell” and “Become The Enemy have all charted in the Top 25. The record-smashing breakout single “Love The Way You Hate Me” reached #22 at Active Rock, was #1 for 5 weeks on SiriusXM Octane, and the accompanying video became a viral hit that has been viewed over 3.2 million times to date. The follow up “Wish You Hell” reached #17 and gave the band the distinction of being the only artist from New Zealand to break into the Active Rock Top 20.

The band is regarded as one of the most prolific new acts on the rock circuit. The Auckland-bred brothers— Chris Brooks [lead vocals, guitar, didgeridoo, keys/programming], Matt Brooks [vocals, lead guitar, keys/programming], and Kent Brooks [bass, vocals, keys/programming] — came to the United States knowing no one, and have built a devoted fan-base through their tireless tour schedule. The addition of L.A-based Zach Wood on drums rounds out the line-up. Like A Storm write, perform, record and produce all of their own albums.

Like A Storm’s latest album “Awaken The Fire” is out now via Another Century Records.
