Stoke based hard rockers Magic Mary are now down to a four piece band, not five, but have not lost any of their power and precision, point well and truly proven by ‘Gaslight’, recently released single and are taking 2024 by the scruff of the neck with an extensive tour.
If you want riffs, you got em as they channel their inner AC/DC for four shake your foundations minutes with one foot in the seventies and the other in the present day. They really hit their stride in a midsection of a histrionic lead vocal from Liam Johnson as he somehow pitches higher when they let rip to blow your speakers with rock and roll.
