Massive Wagons announce a 9-date headline tour across the UK and Ireland. Kicking off at Nottingham’s Rock City on 22nd November and finishing at Belfast’s Limelight 2 on 7th December, the tour will see them headline their biggest venues to date and will follow a run in Europe with Kissin’ Dynamite in October. Special guests for the tour are yet to be announced.
Tickets are on sale from 10 am BST on Monday 6th May via massivewagons.com or can be accessed via O2 Priority and the band’s Patreon pre-sales now.
Frontman Baz Mills comments: “A brand new album and a big shiny tour!! Go us!! Writing and recording new music is always a killer experience but getting out on stage in front of folk is just the greatest thing. It’s such a buzz and a huge passion of ours, giving people a release and a genuine excuse to go mad at a rock show is a real honour. Having a great crowd connection with the lads on stage is the greatest feeling for me ever, and I simply can’t wait to hit these venues in November. Show yourselves and let’s go mad!!”
Soon to announce their seventh album (their fourth via Earache Records), the follow-up to 2022’s UK #6 album ‘Triggered!’, Lancaster’s British rock gems enter their fifteenth year as a band with more fire behind them than ever. With a monster festival season lined up this summer, featuring dates at Wacken Open Air, Mystik Festival, Alcatraz Festival and Barcelona Rock Festival, Massive Wagons’ unstoppable blood-sweat-and-tears reputation never ceases across the live realm. The band are also proudly headlining the tribute concert in memory of the adored late Dave Myers (of Hairy Bikers), set to take place at Barrow Raiders’ Craven Park stadium.
As special guests to Lynyrd Skynyrd and Status Quo on arena stages, The Wildhearts in the clubs, The Darkness and Thunder in theatre halls: Massive Wagons have conquered them all, cementing them a name as one of Europe’s hardest working, hardest rocking bands in the process. Led by the dynamic Baz Mills, whose relentless energy and commanding stage presence is legendary in the modern rock scene, Massive Wagons features Adam Thistlethwaite on lead guitar, Alex Thistlethwaite on drums, Adam Bouskill on bass, and Stevie Holl on rhythm guitar.
