Summary:

Mojo Thunder raise the roof as they release a brand new single 'Step By Step', taken from forthcoming studio album The Infinite Hope, released on Friday, August 16th, 2024.

Kentucky’s renegade rock and rollers, Mojo Thunder release ‘Step By Step’, follow up single to the previous ‘Holy Ghost’. Formed in 2018, they release their sophomore studio album ‘The Infinite Hope’ on Friday, August 16th. With the new single, they will not be taking small steps, but giant strides courtesy of the quality of the song that bodes well for their ten track album.

It’s written by lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Sean Sullivan who adds, “Step By Step” is an incredibly catchy tune, bursting with pop sensibilities that finds a way to turn despair and loneliness into a triumphant, stadium ready anthem”.

My take on the single is that it has an angelic lead vocal to soothe the soul alongside edgy verses that ascend to the heavens. The main riff rocks hard and heavy when the fuse is lit for a full on midsection and a seismic outro of drum driven grit, thunderous bass bombast and a fretboard burning guitar solo.
