British hard-hitting rockers, MOLLY KARLOFF, have unleashed their first single You Don’t Know My Name from their eagerly anticipated debut album, Breaking Out, which is set to drop later this Summer. The single has been released by Molly Makes Records, and is out now. Watch the video, here – https://youtu.be/AFOrO-dT1EA .
You Don’t Know My Name follows on from their previously successful release, She Said, which was featured as track of the week and on the main playlist of Planet Rock. The new single promises to be just as popular, as the band continue to cement their place in the UK rock scene with their unique, hook-laden sound. Lifted from their forthcoming debut album, Breaking Out, the track is produced by Grammy award-winning producer, Mike Exeter (Black Sabbath, Tony Iommi, Judas Priest, Cradle of Filth, Those Damn Crows, Massive Wagons), and is the first single of many singles to be taken from the album.
MOLLY KARLOFF have harvested critical acclaim from all their previous releases, with Powerplay Magazine describing the band’s work as “straight to the naughty centre, ballsy rock” – 9/10. Fireworks Magazine went further, proclaiming the band as: “what Royal Blood might sound like if they wrote some good songs to go alongside their riffs”. And in a hugely positive reaction, Hard Rock Hell Magazine echoed other sentiments, calling their music ‘an assault on your brain sort of music, smashing its way into your head and staying there in a fabulous way and I bloody love it!’
The high-energy performances of this electrifying Oxford-based trio are comprised of Simon Gee (Vocals, Guitar), Dan Podbery (bass) and Jowie Adkins (Drums), and have already wooed audiences up and down the country. Festival appearances and tour supports are also in the works for the Summer and throughout the remainder of the year.
MOLLY KARLOFF’s new single, You Don’t Know My Name, tackles the subject of forging your own pathway despite the difficulty of being dismissed and underestimated. It is everything you need from an alluring slab of hard rock with meaty guitar riffs, a catchy groove, stunning solo, powerful vocals, and a soaring hook that hangs in the air for eons.
