OUT OF THE ASHES is a three day rock and metal event that features around a hundred bands playing across three stages. The venue for the festival is the Vauxhall Motors Sports and Social Club, Ellesmere Port and will be held on the 11th-13thJuly 2014.
The festival is an opportunity for bands that stretch across a wide range of rock and metal sub genres to be given the chance to play in front of hundreds of new and old fans.
Dan Read, one of the festival organisers said “OUT OF THE ASHES want to deliver a festival with a diverse line up, of multiple genres with some old favourites and exciting debutants”
The festival is a charity based organisation and this year they have chosen to support THE HEADBANGERS BALLS who raise money for The Teenage Cancer Trust and raise awareness of testicular cancer.
Andy Pilkington of The Headbangers Balls said: “Headbangers Balls are exceptionally proud to be partnering up with Out of the Ashes festival as their good cause for 2014. As a supporter of the best UK emerging talents, the festival was a perfect fit for us, and the 2014 line up looks to be the strongest yet. It’s a testament to the work we’ve been doing that we’re attracting such formidable partners.”
The line-up for OUT OF THE ASHES this year is already shaping up to be one for fans to embrace. There are 29 bands booked so far such as metal giants Huron, Reign of Fury, Sa-Da-KO and Def-Con One with many more to be announced over the coming weeks.
OUT OF THE ASHES is a festival that music fans are tipping to be huge due to their willingness to offer festival goers established acts as well as new up and coming bands. With around 100 acts to be announced for the festival across the three days, OUT OF THE ASHES is certainly one to mark on the calendar this year.
