Paul Gilbert Plans Autumn 2016 Adventure (Not Trouble) Across Europe

During his 30th anniversary year as a professional recording artist, American guitar virtuoso Paul Gilbert (Racer X, Mr. Big) will bring his all-star band and traditional, mind-bending live show to Continental and UK audiences this autumn.

This latest round of dates celebrates and highlights his latest worldwide release for earMusic / Edel, I Can Destroy, and his greatest-hits solo career anthology PG-30, released in Japan.

This string of dates follows a simulcast stint in Japan where he brought I Can Destroy‘s CERN atom-smasher metaphor to life by embracing the quantum state of superposition: existing in multiple places at once.

Gilbert takes an enthusiastic approach to guitar and to songwriting. Unaffected by technical or genre constraints, he explores rock, blues, and classic heavy metal with gusto, youthful spirit, and fire. Each song is different, but permeated with the same creative innocence and peerless musicianship he is known for cultivating.

Additionally, for this tour, Gilbert is again offering VIP ‘guitar lesson’ sessions. Eight students maximum per city will be able to take part in these sessions. In the past, Gilbert’s VIP sessions have been intensive, small-group teaching experiences that provided lasting memories and benefit to students.
