Summary:

An overwhelming rush of blood to the head onslaught from Edinburgh based Perpetua.

Edinburgh based metallers Perpetua certainly know how to bring the hammer down with their latest single The Age Of Collapse. Available from iTunes, Amazon and Spotify it is an aurally crushing seven minutes of brutality that does not overstay it’s welcome.  It kicks off with a devilish bark from lead vocalist Jack Gordon and heads off into Demanufacture like era of Fear Factory with pummeling precision grooves backed up by demolition ball wrecking drum patterns from Stephen Dickson.

A calm before the storm midsection sees the band head off into thrash metal territory followed by a brief whispered vocal and a raging guitar solo that heads up into the stratosphere. The song ends with huge, grinding riffage. Very very impressive songwriting!

Perpetua band line up :-

Jack Gordon – Lead vocals.

Kieran Johnston – Lead guitar.

Andy Dickson – Rhythm guitar.
