2017 Dates & Early Bird Tickets Announced
Ramblin’ Man Fair would like to say a massive thank you to all who came, performed and contributed to make this years festival so special.
“We have been overwhelmed by the positive feedback we have received from our staging of the Ramblin’ Man Fair festival at Mote Park, Maidstone across the weekend of 23/24 July 2016. We had over 22,000 people on site over the weekend. There was a fantastic atmosphere with no trouble of any sort and no arrests. The cream of global classic rock, prog, country and blues music delivered some incredible performances. As The Daily Express has written “The only festival in the UK of its kind, hosting music from this slightly marginalised but fanatically followed genre, is superbly organised with top notch food and bar areas, including its own beer festival catering for the avid sold out crowd…If you like a festival experience that does what it says on the tin with great music, hospitality and genuine people then the Ramblin’ Man Festival has all of these special ingredients for you.”
We are delighted to be able to put on the festival at Mote Park. A wonderful location and we are very happy to be able to put money back into the local community via the council. We had customers from all over Europe and the UK and we think the festival acts as a great showcase for Maidstone and Kent. The festival also yielded a triple live CD set featuring donated songs by over 35 artists with all proceeds going to Nordoff Robbins Music Therapy.
We are aware of 35 complaints made to the council relating to noise levels. Whilst we were well within agreed noise levels we take the concerns of any residents very seriously. We will be continuing to work with the Council to minimise any disruption to the local residents whilst working very hard to make this event a continued highlight of the Maidstone calendar in the coming years. Early bird tickets for 2017 are onside now!” – Chris Ingham, Spirit of Rock owner and Creative Director of Ramblin Man
