Ramblin’ Man Fair – Announce Grooverider Stage Headliner

Following on from the critically acclaimed and commercially successful fourth year in 2018, Ramblin’ Man Fair returns in 2019! This year the festival will move back its traditional end of July slot on the 19th, 20thand 21stJuly.

MONSTER MAGNET (Grooverider Stage Headliner) –Retro-rock visionaries Monster Magnet have become one of the most successful and influential bands associated with the so-called underground “stoner rock” scene. And yet, their influences span much further than that scene’s foundations in ’70s hard rock and metal, delving into space rock, psychedelia, and beyond.

Fusing their metal, punk, space rock, and psychedelic influences, the band developed a sludgy, feedback-heavy hard rock sound that helped them stand out through the decades and continue to this day.

After celebrating their 30thAnniversary last year and with a host of critically acclaimed albums under the belt including the most audacious, devil-may-care deep dive into ‘60s acid rockthat this is ‘Spine of God’,the greatest space rock album recorded outside of the ‘60s and ‘70s ‘Dopes to Infinity’and the iconic ‘Powertrip’which encapsulated everything that was great about their retro-rock revival.Monster Magnet are a fantastic addition to this years already stellar Ramblin’ Man Fair line up.
