Gregg Allman is a legendary figure in American music. He was a founding member of The Allman Brothers Band, who defined the soulful sound of southern rock on iconic albums such as At Fillmore East (1971) and Eat A Peach (1972). As a solo artist, he has made a string of acclaimed albums, including 2011’s Low Country Blues, which reached number five on the US Billboard chart. Allman was inducted into The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in 2006, and in November 2014 he is to receive the Living Legend award at the Classic Rock Roll Of Honour event in Los Angeles. Millions of Top Gear fans around the world will recognise The Allman Brothers Song “Jessica” as the programmes theme tune.

“Really looking forward to getting back to the UK with my band. I’ve always loved my British fans. Love playing for them. It’s going to be a lot of fun” – Gregg Allman

Camel are among the most revered British progressive rock groups from the golden generation of the early 70s. Formed in London, the band made their name with landmark albums Mirage, The Snow Goose and Moonmadness – described byallmusic.com as “majestic and canonical”. Still led by founding member Andrew Latimer, Camel completed a successful tour in 2014 playing The Snow Goose in its entirety. Among the new generation of rock musicians citing Camel as a key influence are Steven Wilson and Opeth’s Mikael Åkerfeldt.

Marillion are one of the world’s leading progressive rock bands, with a career spanning 35 years and 17 studio albums. With their original singer Fish, the band found huge success in the early 80s with albums such as Script For A Jester’s Tear and Misplaced Childhood – the latter yielding the hit single Kayleigh. And in the 25 years since Steve Hogarth took over from Fish, Marillion’s popularity has continued via a series of brilliant albums and pioneering fan interaction through the internet.

“Marillion are proud to be heading-up the Prog Stage at Ramblin’ Man Fair next July. Exciting stuff indeed. On the right side of London for a hop across the channel, and so thoroughly recommended to our European fans as well as the Brits” – Marillion
