Manga-influenced French thrash metallers, RISE OF THE NORTHSTAR have revealed their debut album, entitled ‘Welcame’ is set for release on September 22nd. The artwork has also been unveiled and can be seen below.

Emerging in 2010 with the now sold-out ‘Tokoyo Assault’ EP, RISE OF THE NORTHSTAR are flawless in combining their respect for the Japanese underground culture with contemporary metal.
Showing their indisputable support for the Empire of the Red Sun, RISE OF THE NORTHSTAR released the video for ‘Phoenix’ in order to raise funds for the Red Cross and support of those affected by the disastrous triple cataclysm that hit Japan in early 2011. Despite the destruction to their cultural home, the band still managed to pull off their first European tour later that year, totalling 24 shows in 26 days.
RISE OF THE NORTHSTAR have since released yet another EP, ‘Demonstrating My Saiya Style’, which scored #3 in the Amazon mp3 charts on the week of its debut and embarked on an Asian Tour of China and Taiwan.
