Bridgend in Wales has produced an array of musical talent over the years, notably Bullet For My Valentine, Funeral For A Friend, and more recently, Those Damn Crows, and natives, ROCKABYE REAPER, are now poised to be the Welsh band to breakthrough to the masses, loaded up with their own exhilarating blend of edgy hard rock that is stacked with beefy riffs, enticing hooks, and pounding beats. Formed in 2022, the powerhouse quintet feature the potent talents of Keeley Shobbrook (Vocals), Dafydd Jones (Rhythm Guitar & backing vocals), Shaun O’Brien (Lead Guitar), Daniel Thomas-James (Bass, Keyboard & backing vocals), and Matthew ‘The Animal’ Thomas (Drums). Already possessing a growing fanbase throughout the whole of Wales due to an onslaught of highly successful shows, ROCKABYE REAPER are now prepared to strike out on their own and are braced for nationwide exposure with the release of their debut single and forthcoming UK shows.

ROCKABYE REAPER’s new single, Betrayal, merges throbbing vocal lines and punchy riffs with thoughtful arrangements and real guile. The band remark about the motivation behind the song: “This is a high energy, Nu-Metal track that explores the treachery and disloyalty from someone you once had faith in.
