ROCKMANTIC 2016 – press release; final three bands announced & media partners

The increasingly popular Rockmantic Weekender held at The Brickyard, Carlisle announces final three bands to join the sixteen band bill, along with new media partners.

With over 50% of advance tickets sold already, it’s no surprise that event organiser Raz White is extremely happy with the national interest the weekender now attracts in its fourth year.

“Due to popular fan demand we are always happy to bring Knock Out Kaine to Carlisle.  The Lincoln based rockers are already booked for several festivals next Summer in the UK, Belgium & USA, so this may be their only opportunity to return to Carlisle in 2016”

Knock Out Kaine are working on an interim Ep entitled ‘Cruel Britannia’ that is scheduled for release at Rockmantic.

“There is no better feeling than when a band you’ve never seen before immediately connects with you. When I saw A Joker’s Rage at Sheffield 02 Academy I knew that I must have them on the bill. They are a theatrical onslaught reinforced with gigantic songs. The Brickyard will most certainly be bouncing during their set”

“This year Hellion Rising received the unfortunate news that their drummer had been hospitalised days before they were due to play. However, they were determined not to let their fans down & restructured the band with Kieran on drums & Gio moving to bass. It was far from the set they had wished to play, but nonetheless did a great job in such little time. I felt the band deserved the opportunity to come back & play as the full band with the set they had planned. I was very happy when they agreed”

Delighted to support local new business, we are very pleased to have Unlimited Chaos (new alternative shop in Penrith) on board as a sponsor. We are equally happy to have two of the hardest working independent media involved with TBFM & PlanetMosh giving their full support.
