Starlite & Campbell reach for the stars with ease, courtesy of their latest single 'Song To The Siren'. A majestic song to say the least. Watch the accompanying video to soak up its beauty.

Welcome back to the mad as hatters husband and wife duo of Starlite & Campbell, as they have just released their new single ‘Song To The Siren’, their take on the Tim Buckley and Larry Beckett’s song.

It’s a powerful ballad to say the least, that means many things to many people, a song of love, hope and loss. In search of an authentic rendition, Suzy reinstated the original lyrics, “I am puzzled as the oyster”.

“After all, who hasn’t met an oyster that wasn’t puzzled?”

The single was released on January 24th, 2025, recorded live at the ‘Supertonic Sonic Laboratory’ analog recording studio on their own label, Supertone Records.

My take on the single is that it’s just under 5 minutes of ethereal, heartbreaking beauty to melt the coldest heart. It’s delivered with one guitar, one angelic lead vocal and sparse percussion to make it ride the waves to the horizon and back as this frail ballad could fall apart at any second.
