SUNFALL are an exciting maverick metalcore unit born out of Guildford. The rousing quartet have already boldly made a name for themselves in the British heavy underground scene, offering up a fresh take on the multi genre fusion formulae that has captured the attention of listeners from countries around the world.
Drawing from a wealth of musical influences expansive of many genres and scenes, SUNFALL draws from prominent metalcore bands such as Architects and Northlane, to deathcore luminaries Fit For An Autopsy and Thy Art Is Murder. The foursome also have a strong affection for colossal heavyweights spanning from Metallica and Slipknot to System Of A Down.
Founded by guitarist Oliver Welzen-James (Carbine/Ex Bound in Fear) in 2018, SUNFALL have a solid pedigree of members with powerhouse pipemaster, Sam Worsfold (Entropy) on vocals, James Titcomb, handling the lo-slung groove on bass, and tub thumper Ryan Wood behind the kit. From the get go, SUNFALL got straight to it, cutting their teeth on the live circuit and sharing stages alongside of the likes of Monuments, Hacktivist, The Royal, Parting Gift, Bound in Fear, Distant and many more.
In 2019, SUNFALL unleashed their hugely promising EP, Serenity. The record served to greatly increase the band’s reach and amp up their already impressive following. The industrious crew now charge forward with a new single, Harakiri. Upon hearing Harakiri,it’s evident that the band possess the know-how and dexterity to create a monstrous slab of inventive metalcore that not only energises and excites, but truly inspires. With an abundance of new material on the way, SUNFALL are set to rise.
