Welcome back Takeaway Thieves, who formed five years ago in Blackpool, recently releasing a new single ‘Sundance’, playing their biggest gig so far this weekend at Planet RockStock, Trecco Bay Holiday Park, Porthcawl, on Sunday, December 3rd which surely should have them singing, “Oh we do like to be beside the seaside”.
In only three minutes, they turn the tide around with a no frills, talk the talk and walk the walk performance, with a swaggering main riff that takes no prisoners, pinned down by a slick rhythm section of bass bombast, wrist snapping snare work, a rasping lead vocal, stratospheric height choruses, all topped off by a dreamy midsection and a fretboard burning solo outro!
