French electro-metal producer Remi Gallego (aka THE ALGORITHM) is to release his sophomore album, ‘OCTOPUS4’ on June 2nd, via Basick Records and alongside Rogue Star Games’ Kickstarter campaign.
‘OCTOPUS4’ marks the next evolutionary stage in THE ALGORITHM’s sound with 12 tracks plunging even further into the unexpected, unthinkable and unbelievable. The album will be available in CD and digital formats as part of a funding development for a brand new shoot-em-up space fighter, intended for future release on PS4, Mac OSX, Linux and Windows PC platforms.
Set for release on June 2nd 2014, ‘OCTOPUS4’ follows the groundbreaking debut ‘Polymorphic Code’, a record which redefined crossover music for the 21st century. Award-winning (snatching the Metal Hammer Golden God ‘Best Underground Act’ Award), the album generated an invite from ESPN (Disney) to write ten exclusive songs for the TV network, whilst simultaneously creating huge demand for worldwide touring, garnering slots on Australia’s Big Day Out and the UK’s Download festivals among many others.
Starting today (March 20th 2014) fans can pledge towards the campaign and in return receive an extensive number of rewards, including copies of ‘OCTOPUS4’. Not only that; once development is complete and ready to launch, the game itself will also feature an entirely new soundtrack, also scored exclusively by THE ALGORITHM.
