THE BRIDESMAID is a brand new musical endeavour that draws inspiration from post-rock, shoegaze, post-metal, grunge and black metal.
Those behind the project have chosen to remain anonymous and currently have no plans to play live. This is less to do with creating hype or mystique, and more to do with a desire for the music to be judged on merit alone.
The debut release from THE BRIDESMAID, entitled Grayson, will be available digitally in September, but you can hear a short snippet of the music HERE.
The BRIDESMAID have today launched their Facebook page and suggest that liking them there, or following them on Twitter is the best way to keep up with their news.
Although THE BRIDESMAID believe that the music is the most important element of creating a commercially available sonic product, the artwork to accompany their upcoming release was created masterfully by Robert Høyem. Robert is the aesthetic shaman behind artworks for the likes of Sahg, Heksed and Kampfar.
