The First – Take Courage

the first - take courage - album cover a

Join the new wave of British Rock. The First, a band from Cambridgeshire, have released Take Courage, their 11-track second album.

This is a melodic, hook-laden disc, rich with anthemic, catchy rock tunes.

Widely compared to You Me At Six, the band channels influence from classic rock to power pop-punk, with heavier elements scattered throughout.

This band has a trendy sound: heavy, modern, emotional, and heavy on vocal arrangement.

The musicians seem thoroughly skilled, and the vocalist has a really nice range.

Most of the nicely produced, well-composed disc has an even, similar mood.

Exciting and fresh, play it loud!
