The fantastic four of The Hot Damn hang onto summer for as long as possible with new single Can You Hear Me Now? Taken from their debut album Dancing On The Milky Way, released via Fat Earth Records on Friday,September 27th 2024.

The Hot Damn return with all guns blazing with a brand new single ‘Can You Hear Me Now?’ It’s taken from their upcoming debut album Dancing On The Milky Way, released via Fat Earth Records on Friday, September 27th 2024. The single delivers a powerful message as they’re raising awareness for hearing health and the band pledge to always provide free disposable earplugs at all of their shows. I think it’s a fantastic idea as I’ve never worn them since watching bands from 1980, including over 30 Motorhead gigs, but never thought of the consequences which is why I have hearing aids now at 61.

Guitarist Laurie Buchanan adds,”Since I was a kid, it’s been drilled into me – Earplugs are a Must.”

To celebrate the release of the single, The Hot Damn is offering a small earplug bundle with a cassette of the album, including the new single. You can also take the band on their free earplugs offer when they undertake a headlining UK tour in November.

To my shredded hearing, this three minute party starting and finishing song has sugar sweet infectious grooves that grab you from the off, driven by raucous riffing, seismic bass guitar bombast, a full on tub thumping drum battery and choruses to die for!
