The Howling Tides Release ‘White Crow’ into the Wild & Announce a New Headline Gig
Award-Winning, dynamic, 4-piece hard rockers, The Howling Tides —from Staffordshire in the UK — are proud to release their brand-new single ‘White Crow’: out now. The band are also delighted to announce their biggest headline gig to date: see below for details.
“After an amazing few months for the band,” say The Howling Tides themselves, “we couldn’t be more excited to unleash ‘White Crow’… Bringing it to life saw us stretching out creatively like never before, and the end result is the most dynamic and captivating ‘Tides release to date. We hope you love it as much as we do.”
Opening with a fierce riff, followed by the Tides’ trademark monsoon of hard rock sound and energy, plus Rob Baynes’ lead vocals, the lyrics unfold. The band explain that “’White Crow’ is about someone getting older and dealing with the challenges of life that come with that, while still living to the full and refusing to be held back. The journey of the song captures that defiance and maverick approach. We couldn’t be prouder to get this song out!”
Listen out for some great guitar solos and haunting pulled-back moments as the song develops too.
The Howling Tides brings together Rob Baynes (lead vocals/guitar); Hayden Kirk (guitar/backing vocals); Adam Brewell (bass/backing vocals); and Steven ‘Herbie’ Herbert (drums).
They’ve built their rep and momentum with some powerhouse releases and with high-profile festival successes at Steelhouse, Planet Rockstock, Rock and Blues and — most recently — Bloodstock.
One mark of their success was their recent Young Blood Award from HRH VI (2021).
