The Kentucky Headhunters Release Their 12-track Album ‘That’s a Fact Jack!’ & Premiere The Title Track’s Video

Southern blues-rock royalty, The Kentucky Headhunters are proud to release their latest album, ‘That’s a Fact Jack!’: a 12-track smorgasbord of Kentucky Headhunters goodness, gathered together by the band’s love of music and performance. They’re also premiering the lyric video for its hard-rocking title track of the same name.

As an album, ‘That’s a Fact Jack!’ is unique in that after an impressive 14 album releases for The Kentucky Headhunters, in their decades-long career, this is the first album to ever be released, as a standalone release, from their own label: Practice House Records, and distributed through BFD

Opening with a steady, powerful beat and strong, sharp hook, the title track ‘That’s a Fact Jack’ leads into passion-filled, raw rock vocals without restraint and builds up not just a wall but an overwhelming tsunami of Kentucky Headhunters’ sound, including some razor-edged lead guitar solos.

The video has a kaleidoscopic look, rotating and reflecting the lyrics as no holds barred raw vocals give the song the rock edge you’d expect from a band with such decades-long honed talents, experience, and credentials,

“Jon Lawhon did a great job,” says Richard Young, speaking for the band, “He used a kaleidoscope effect, with swirling designs of the band and our album artwork to create a vibe of nervous tension yet at the same time, a feeling of childlike imagery, to mould the heaviness of the music and the song’s lyrical content”

The title track ‘That’s a Fact Jack!’ was released as a single on 8th October and made Rushonrock’s Red Hot Track Of The Week. What’s more, respected rock journo Simon Rushworth gave it a glowing review: “This is The Kentucky Headhunters at their convincing best. That’s A Fact Jack.”
