The Voice UK’s Adam Barron is new lead singer with Mick Ralphs Blues Band

adam 1Blues rock legend, Mick Ralphs, and his band are thrilled to announce the appointment of their new lead singer, Adam Barron, who will be joining them for all of their UK dates this winter.
Adam comes with a background in classic blues-rock with a set of pipes that you’ve really got to hear. He has built a following in his own right, following his successful run on BBC’s The Voice UK, in 2013.
“I am incredibly excited to get to work with the man who, with Bad Company and others, wrote the songs I fell in love with years ago, and look forward to stepping into the shoes of many incredible front-men and singers he has worked with over the years. I’m up for the challenge and can’t wait to get started.” – ADAM BARRON
Adam grew up on a diet of sixties music and Queen, but in his teenage years he also found Soul, Motown, Blues and British Blues Rock, in bands such as Bad Company and these influences have stayed with him ever since. He started going to ‘jam nights’ when he was 16 and was regularly gigging around Kent and the South East of England by the age of 18, in a number of classic rock and blues bands. Although he had fantastic success locally he had dreams of bigger stages and larger crowds so in 2013, at the age of 26, he decided to test himself on a huge scale and auditioned for the BBC’s ‘The Voice’.
Adam got to work with both Jessie J and Sir Tom Jones and with their mentoring, and his natural talent, he got through three televised rounds and reached the last 28 in the competition from a total of 30,000 contestants. Since his appearance on ‘The Voice’, Adam has become a full-time musician playing gigs up and down the country, including a show in front of several thousand people at the Bournemouth Air Show.
