The term “rock n roll outlaw” is most definitely one which can be applied to guitarist Tracii Guns. These days, he has a new fire in his belly, with not one but two new bands on the go. As he returns to the UK this week with Gunzo – alongside veteran bassist Rudy Sarzo – PlanetMosh took the opportunity to catch up with him to talk about the band, the tour, future recording plans, the Devil City Angels project and auditioning for W.A.S.P.
Gunzo kick off their UK tour at the Fuel Rock Club in Cardiff tomorrow (Monday September 7), with the remaining dates as follows:
Tuesday 8 – Iron Road Rock Bar, Evesham
Wednesday 9 – Waterfront, Norwich
Thursday 10 – The Duchess, York
Friday 11 – Camden Underworld, London
Saturday 12 – South Sea, Sheffield
Sunday 13 – Academy 3, Manchester
Monday 14 – Bannerman’s, Edinburgh
Tuesday 15 – The Diamond, Sutton-In-Ashfield
Wednesday 16 – Voodoo, Belfast
Support on all dates comes from Chase The Ace (except London, Sheffield and Belfast) and Stone Trigger. Tickets are available from usual outlets.
‘Devil City Angels’ is released via Century Media on September 11.
