Northern Irish eight-legged groove monsters Triggerman are to release a new three-track EP at the beginning of June.
The rather enigmatically named ‘Origins, Lost Travellers & Rock ‘n’ Roll Heaven’ was once again recorded at Einstein Studios, and will be released on June 2.
The release – the follow up to the acclaimed ‘Hail To The River Gods’ EP – sees a return to action for the quartet from Legenderry, following a hugely successful year in 2013, which saw them support the likes of Orange Goblin and Red Fang, as well as Status Quo, and appear at Belfast’s iconic Ulster Hall. Singer/guitarist Bap said of these experiences:
“It’s great to play along with bands that we hold in such high regard.When you see these guys up close,it can only help us to become a better band ourselves.”
Triggerman officially launch ‘Origins, Lost Travellers & Rock ‘n’ Roll Heaven’ when they co-headline the Diamond Rock Club, Ahoghill, with Screaming Eagles on Saturday May 31.
