Tyler Bryant & The Shakedown literally return kicking and screaming from the wilderness with their new single ‘Bloodshot Baby’, aptly released via Rattle Shake Records on February 14th, Valentine’s Day on all streaming platforms.
It follows the success of their sixth album, Electrified as Tyler Bryant explains, “Bloodshot Baby is our tip to the hat for some of the original pioneers of rock and roll, Little Richard, Chuck Berry and Jerry Lee Lewis.”
From just one listen, my take on the single is that it channels the verve of ‘Roll Over Beethoven’, kicking out some glorious jams of speaker rattling prowess. A howl of feedback heralds a full on bad boy boogie stomp to keep the headbangers happy and the air guitarists to when the midsection burst into life.
