The dawn of a new era of Progressive Tech-Metal from UK shores is about to explode worldwide.ALIASES return with their highly anticipated sophomore album, ‘Derangeable‘, 11 tracks of colossal tech riffery and soaring vocals that paint the listener a ferociously beautiful and rewardingly complex soundscape over the course of 47 minutes. Poised with the determination, intelligence and non-conformist style to drag the modern metal genre forward, ALIASES will release Derangeablevia Basick Records on 15th April 2016.

It’s never easy to explain how you feel about finally unleashing a new album upon the world. Having worked with the best people imaginable to create something we’re so proud to showcase, there aren’t many words capable of doing it justice. To anyone about to listen to these new tracks, I hope you brought spare pants. Aliases will not be held responsible for any adverse consequences pre or post listening. ALIASES will release Derangeable via Basick Records on April 15th. A new single and video will be premiered in the coming weeks, stay tuned.
About Aliases
ALIASES is the brainchild of SikTh guitarist Pin & Leah Woodward with the aim to push creative limits when it comes to songwriting, incorporating catchy, dynamic, emotive, brutal yet approachable metal. Within their first year they had recorded and released their first single “We Never Should Have Met” played their debut gig at Euroblast Festival in Germany, signed to Basick Records and recorded their debut record ‘Safer Than Reality’ which was released to critical acclaim worldwide in August 2011.
Fast forward through subsequent years and the band have completed numerous tours, showcases, festivals at home and abroad, single and video releases. Along the way completing a line up change with new vocalist, Joe Rosser and drummer Jof Walsh in place for this release. Having perfected their sound, the time for Aliases is now and the release of their brand new album Derangeable is set to propel them to the forefront of the UK scene and beyond.
