Time for a little desk mosh by way of Oxfordshire’s up and coming, no-holds-barred metallers A Trust Unclean, who are proud to present their brutal new EP Reality Relinquished due August 07.
Fronted by beautifully disturbing artwork from France’s Headsplit Design (Arch Enemy, Whitechapel, Cryptopsy, etc), Reality Relinquished is as engrossing as it is disquieting. Technical death metal, deathcore and brutal groove metal combine in a scintillatingly heady cocktail and endures far beyond its running time.
A brief concept album, Reality Relinquished details the story and aftermath of the end of days – impending doom, weaponised mutant human killing machines and more. Thunderously guttural vocals and riproaring fretwork interplay to create modern technical death metal at its finest – brutal but not without that spark of melody and groove.
A band who’ve played alongside Exit Ten, Acrania, Ingested and more, A Trust Unclean are set to tour the UK in August. With plenty of activity in the pipeline and more to be announced soon, this young band’s potential sees them set to have a bright future.
