Dom Martin is nominated in five categories including “Blues Instrumentalist Of The Year”“Best Acoustic Blues Act Of The Year”“Blues Band Of The Year”“Blues Vocalist Of The Year” and “Blues Album Of The Year”. Based in Belfast, guitarist and singer-songwriter are being hailed as Ireland’s biggest music export since the great Rory Gallagher. His new album “A Savage Life” will be released on April 8th. Dom is the UK representative at this year’s International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennessee from May 3-9th. Click here for more info. 


When Rivers Meet, comprising husband and wife Aaron and Grace Bond, who swept the UK Blues Awards in 2021 by being the first act to win four awards, are back this year with three nominations including “Blues Vocalist Of The Year”, “Blues Band Of The Year” and “Blues Album Of The Year”. WRM is currently riding high with their sophomore album “Saving Grace” which features their forthcoming single “He’ll Drive You Crazy”. King King, hailed by many as the UK’s biggest blues-rock band, is nominated for “Blues Band Of The Year”. Led by Glaswegian vocalist and guitarist Alan Nimmo, the band start their UK tour with special guests The Damn Truth on Thursday, February 10th. King King will perform tracks from their latest critically acclaimed album “Maverick”, plus classics from their back catalogue. Click here for info about King King’s February 2022 UK tour. 


Brave Rival, the Portsmouth-based five-piece rock, blues and soul band featuring the hypnotic lead vocals of Lindsey Bonnick and Chloe Josephine, is nominated for “Emerging Act Of The Year”. The band’s debut album “Life’s Machine” will be released on May 6th.
