Fallen Fate are –

Piers Donno-Fuller – Guitars
John Wright – Drums
Peter Hodgson – Bass

Fallen Fate is a Modern Metal band from the North East of England.  We formed in 2005, released an EP in Early 2008 and began gigging and touring from mid-2008.  Our Debut Album ‘The Virus Has Spread’ was released in 2011 and we are currently working on Album II.  We have played at the Download Festival in 2010 and 2011 and Toured the UK and Ireland in 2011 with Onslaught and Gama Bomb.  We are influenced by American Metal and Modern Thrash Metal.

Why did you want to become part of the New Blood Stage line up?

Along with having an amazing line up this year, Bloodstock is a great gathering of the Metal Community in the UK.  Any Metal band, Signed or Unsigned, should want to be a part of this great Festival and we are honored to be playing the New Blood Stage this year on the Friday Evening.

What was your initial reaction when you found out you where playing on the New Blood Stage?

We were all very excited to be a part of the Festival and we started planning our set list soon after to include a mixture of new and older material.  Big shout out to Si Hall and the Bloodstock team for all of their hard work.

What is your opinion of the Bloodstock lineup?

The line-up this year is the strongest that it has ever been in my opinion.  It is still driven by its more extreme metal roots but it has started to include more established acts in the more ‘popular’ genres of Metal, like Machine Head, Hatebreed, Malefice and ourselves.  I think this will be great for the Festival and will help its continued growth in the coming years.

What are you looking forward to most at Bloodstock?

We are obviously looking forward to performing on the Friday Evening and checking out Testament, Machine Head and a few of our friends who are also performing over the weekend.  We are also just looking forward to just hanging out and drinking with friends and the rest of the Metal Community, it’s going to be an epic weekend.

What can the audience expect from you at the festival?

The Bloodstock crowd can expect a heavy and intense performance from Fallen Fate.  We are going to get through as many tracks as possible, including new material, and we will be involving the crowd as much as possible so don’t miss it!

Can you sum up Bloodstock in one sentence?

Bloodstock is the UK’s Premier Metal Festival for signed and unsigned bands.

Any message you wish to pass on to the PM readers?

If you have supported us over the years, we thank you! And if you are just getting into Fallen Fate then we will see you at Bloodstock, spread the virus.  Most of all just keep supporting UK Metal and your local metal scene.
