INCITE, the incendiary Phoenix based, hardcore-laced metal outfit fronted by Richie Cavalera, are set to release their new studio album, ‘Up In Hell’ through minusHEAD Records on 1st September.
INCITE deliver tried-and-true metal on ‘Up In Hell’ that fearlessly examines everything around them. Richie states, “We’re a real band. We’ve busted our asses. We’ve never tried to do anything fake or bullshit. We’ve done this from the ground up. We want to carry the flag for metal.”
Having teamed up with super-producer, Matt Hyde (Deftones, Slayer), the quintet are ready to unleash a torrent of staggering grooves and thrashy riffs on this third full length. Richie comments that “Up In Hell is the result of four artist view on what real metal should sound like now and in the future.” Matt Hyde breaks it down, stating: “I love listening to the record because I love great riffs and this record has the kind of riffs I would love to be able to play, plus Richie kills it on every song. And of course, Lennon is a fucking beast on drums, which makes him every producer’s best friend.”
The album’s sleeve artwork was designed by Dan Seagrave (Morbid Angel, Suffocation).
The band picked up Revolver Magazine’s ‘Album of the Week’ slot for 2012’s previous opus, ‘All Out War’ and INCITE picked up touring slots alongside Dillinger Escape Plan, Throwdown and stepfather Max Cavalera’s Soulfly and Cavalera Conspiracy projects, and many more.
UK tour plans are under way for October. More details soon!
