How and when did the band form?
The band formed in the early months of 2017, with four us being friends from school and recently returning from University. We met up at a gig at our local venue Club 85, and days after we were straight in the practice room as Earthbound.
When and how did the band really start gelling and solidifying?
In the Summer of 2017 we self-produced our debut EP ‘Endure’ which gave us the opportunity to really get a feel for each others creative style and way of writing and playing. This became solidified when we took to the stage and competed in our local M2TM competition where our friendship and collective sound started to become something we felt was special and worth pursuing.
Who are your musical influences?
Iron Maiden, Trivium, Soilwork and Arch Enemy.
Where did the name of the band come from?
Bury Tomorrow Album, King Crimson Live Album, classic Nintendo game: take your pick!
Where have you played or toured?
Our most notable show is playing the legendary festival that is Bloodstock Open Air in 2018 on the New Blood Stage. We have also had the pleasure to play with some great bands up and down the UK, including supporting Doyle on their recent EU tour.
In your opinion, how is your band different from all the other bands out there?
We really believe we are a melting point of influences, drawing from the wide variety of music that we all individually and collectively enjoy. Our sound encompasses all our favourite aspects of various styles of metal, while also taking inspiration from funk, prog and jazz.
Do you have a tour on the horizon?
We have some exciting shows in the works, but we are always looking to venture to new places to play with new bands and audiences!
