Indicco – Karmalion

indicco - karmalionSpanish band Indicco was formed by Indigo Balboa and Paco Ceroza in 2008.  Indigo Balboa had been working with Mark Spiro and Paco Ceroza had just left Spanish band 91 Suite.
This, their debut album has taken three years to create, and fans of AOR and Melodic rock are likely to be particularly excited by the news of the guest stars who appear on the album.
Jimi Jamison (Survivor) provides guest vocals on three songs – ‘The city’, ‘Feel so good’ and ‘One more time’.  Another three songs feature guest vocals from Mark Spiro (Cheap Trick, Bad English) who also co-wrote the three songs –  ‘Wrong’, Leaving me’ and ‘All about you’.  Guitarist Tim Pearce (Bruce Springsteen, Rick Springfield) also guests, playing additional guitars on ‘Leaving me’ and ‘All about you’

With the involvement of guest musicians of that calibre then you expect the end result to be pretty damn good, and after listening to the album you’re unlikely to be disappointed – this is great stuff.  The vocals are great – not just the guest vocals, but also those from Indigo Balboa.  The music too is excellent – smooth and polished AOR, with enough guitars to add plenty of power to some of the songs.

An excellent album – definitely one for all AOR/Melodic Rock fans to check out
