Summary:

Think of a mixture of Janis Joplin and Mama Cass and you're halfway there.

Earlier this year I saw a performance by the tour de force ball of energy Kim Jennett at the Waterloo Music Bar in Blackpool. Her set flew by as she delivered with being on as well as offstage and ‘Psycho’, her opening song that day is her brand new single.

Written by Myke Gray it totally captivates for its headbanging four minutes. It takes no prisoners with industrial main riffing and earworm guitar fills that buzzed through my  headphones as Kim’s vocals menace one minute and melt your heart with luscious melodies the next. A line from the chorus of “Psycho, you lit the fuse now I’m ready to blow” perfectly describes the way her musical career is careering along! Forthcoming UK 2019 dates include: –

Manchester Rebellion Bar, Nov 23rd:

The Station, Cannock, Nov 24th:

Winter Storm Festival, Troon, Nov 29th.

Think of a mixture of Janis Joplin and Mama Cass and you're halfway there.
