I had the genuine pleasure of talking to one of my all time heroes in Maurizio, not only for the amazing music he creates with both Ex Deo and of course Kataklysm but also for the fact that he is one of the most intelligent and nicest guys you could wish to meet. We talk about the difficulties of balancing the output of the two bands, the fascination with the Roman Empire and lots more besides.
