Summary:

Prepared to be plunged into the wonderfully satanic world of Zombie's imagination with this classic piece of satanic flair.

Rob Zombie

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, the living and the undead I summon you on this occasion to witness my review of the spine tingling master’s first solo studio album since Venomous Rat Regeneration Vendor, Mr Rob Zombie’s The Electric Warlock Acid Witch Satanic Orgy Celebration Dispenser (released 29/04/16). As you can tell by the beautifully titled album we are all in for something a little raunchy to the ears with a touch of satanic flair served to our senses by the Z-man himself.

I feel the best place to start absolutely has to be the vibrant artwork which I can best describe as imagery conjured from the eargasmic guitars played by John 5, the rib cracking bass tones of Piggy D and of course the thunderous drums provided to us all by the one and only Ginger Fish.

The first track The Last Of The Demons Defeated plunges us into the wonderfully satanic world of Zombie’s imagination by setting the scene through the music only this master can create, although it is a short track it manages to lead beautifully into Satanic Cyanide! The Killer Rocks On! This track contains all the classic elements of Zombie’s work making this track very high up on my rating. The album as a whole tells a story throughout its tracks which really allows the mind to wander into the world of imagery through lyrics which is a rarity created by only few artists.

I have fallen in love with the stunning guitar work on the track A Hearse Overturns With The Coffin Bursting Open. Again this is another very short piece yet so beautifully placed within the album.  It really takes you on the full tour of Rob’s vision for this album, with tracks varying in time from only one to three minutes throughout!

After pondering over this entire album I would have to say that The Hideous Exhibitions Of A Dedicated Gore Whore is the stand out track for myself as it contains the heavier side of Zombie which I have always loved. That said, In The Age Of the Consecrated Vampire We All Get High is a very, very close second due to its lyrical content and it’s addictive elements.
