Ridiculously brilliant album that will be stunning live. For the proper punks.

Spam Javelin are like a fine wine. The older they become, the better you digest them. I wasn’t sure previous release ‘The Crack Whores Of Betws Garmon ‘ could be beaten, especially not for political anger and everyday piss-me-offs, but it has, it’s been smashed.

Guitarist and vocalist Neil Crud has grown since the band’s last release. You can relate to each topic of each track vocally straight away, and the music is definitely driven by his vocals.

Musically its on a par with ‘Crack Whores ‘ but there’s a more mature energy here. I hate using that word, but I can’t think of any other. The tracks are short and sharp and there’s never a dull moment through the whole 30 minutes.

Having interviewed Neil almost two years ago, I can certainly relate to some of the topics within the tracks, no more so than ‘Super Twat ‘. If you know, you know. You know?

This is what makes Spam Javelin stand out from the rest. They speak their mind and they are not afraid of who they upset, and if you upset them, they’ll write about you.

God Bless America ‘ is probably Spam’s finest three and a half minutes. Based on the band’s journey to the American borders and back, it’s both musically and lyrically brilliant. Proper old skool punk.

‘The Three Chords Of the Apocalypse is the perfect album for punks old and new. Every tracks delivers. Every track ticks all the boxes. I can’t wait to see them live again. Hats off to the mixing too because the bass and drums sounds great underneath the guitar. Go grab a free digital copy from Bandcamp, or even better, grab yourself a CD or a Ltd Edition Black & Orange Splatter Vinyl. You wont be disappointed.
